LONDON: Scottish singer Annie Lennox has reiterated her call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

Speaking at the US National Library in Washington ahead of the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song event, Lennox told The Independent that the Gaza conflict is having “heartbreaking” consequences for the Palestinian people.

Sporting a red pin with a gold hand, she told the newspaper: “I’m very happy to share this, I’m very proud to do this. This is Artists for Peace.
