Viral intrigue about a tech CEO caught on a kiss cam with his head of HR at a Coldplay concert spilled into the sports world on Friday.

During the Philadelphia Phillies’ game against the Los Angeles Angels, the home team’s standard kiss cam segment turned spicy once the Jumbotron found its way to the team’s mascot, the Phillie Phanatic.

While Coldplay’s “Clocks” played throughout Citizens Park Bank, the city’s beloved green mischief-maker was spotted in a VIP box canoodling with a fuzzy blonde lady mascot.

Realizing all eyes were on them, the lovers scrambled away from one another as audio from the original scandal played over the speakers.

“Uh-oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” the voice of Coldplay’s Chris Martin boomed over the crowd.

The audio was drawn directly from the English rock group’s Wednesday concert at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, where the band happened upon a couple cuddling in the crowd ― which internet detectives later discovered were tech CEO Andy Byron and the head of his company Astronomer’s human resources department.

It all would have seemed unremarkable if the couple didn’t immediately panic, pull apart and hide, both flushed with embarrassment.

“As stated previously, Astronomers are committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” the company’s statement read. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
