CBS Sports soccer host Kate Scott faced her own game-day situation in the form of a sensitive wardrobe malfunction. (Watch the video below.)
During UEFA Champions League coverage Wednesday, Scott reached over to fist-bump fellow panelist Clint Dempsey when her dress sheared apart under her arm.
“I just broke my top,” she declared with a nervous giggle as she held the material in place. She seemingly called for someone offstage to help her.
Her fellow panelists ― former soccer stars Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards along with Dempsey ― could not contain their laughter.
Like a true pro, Scott maintained her grip on the tear and resumed her commentary. She noted a “blockbuster match tonight in the Spanish capital” (Real Madrid beat Juventus, 1-0) and more to come on “Italian football.”
She then bumped the show into a commercial break.
It was a recovery any team, including broadcast, would be proud of. She also shared the viral moment on her Instagram account.
