Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper ripped President Donald Trump on Tuesday for appearing to nod off after he took a red-eye flight from the U.S. to Saudi Arabia for the start of his four-day trip to the Middle East.

“Mr. President, come on, you can’t fall asleep there. This isn’t an intelligence briefing. Come on, man!” Klepper quipped of Trump, who has reportedly sat for just 12 “daily” intelligence briefings so far in his second term.

Moments earlier, Klepper noted that Trump didn’t drink coffee he was served during a special ceremony with the Saudi royal family, adding that the president “maybe regretted not taking that caffeine shot.”

He then tossed to a clip of Trump closing his eyes and appearing to fight to stay awake as he looked up toward the ceiling.

Klepper argued that it’s “not actually a big deal for the president to have jet lag,” adding that he’s “not so much of an asshole” to make fun of someone dozing off on a trip.

“But you know who is that much of an asshole?” Klepper said before playing a clip of Trump making his “sleepy” jab at President Joe Biden.

“The guy can fall asleep instantly with the press watching,” Trump said of Biden at a rally in Coachella, California, last year.

“Who the hell wants to sleep with these people watching? And he’s out cold. ?You see the dribble coming down the side of his cheek.”

Klepper swiftly replied: “Well, well, well. Look who’s sleepy now!”
