Brooke Henderson of Canada had hit a good shot and given a fist pump while walking with her caddy.

Pressel, who herself has won two tournaments on the LPGA Tour, apologized Saturday during the women’s final round at the Games, claiming she would never make such a mistake.

“I just want to take a moment to acknowledge something that I said yesterday during the broadcast,” Pressel said, according to media reports. “I stumbled over my words and unfortunately it sounded as if I said something inappropriate.”

She added that she’s “so sorry that it came across as such because I would never say that on the air in a broadcast.”
